We recently worked with the Global Quality Team at Pattonair. As a new team they were keen to ensure that they set off with a focus on being both a smart and a healthy team. They asked us to take them through the Strength Deployment Inventory ® (SDI®) to help them gain a better understanding of each other’s motivations and how this influences behaviour. After going through the model we had some useful discussions about potential blind spots and overplayed strengths in the team. We also explored how the Leadership Team can use what they learned to improve communication with direct reports and more widely in the organisation.
Everyone went away with some key things they will do differently both within the leadership team and also more widely in the organisation. Proof that just a half-day focussing on Healthy Behaviours and improving relationships can have a beneficial impact on a Team.
