Bramley Lakes at the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce B2B exhibition.
For the first time ever Bramley Lakes took a stand the recent Norfolk Chamber Business to Business Exhibition held at Norwich City Football Club, and what a success it was. B2B is the Norfolk Chamber’s flagship event and two are held every year in Spring and Autumn. It has been running for 13 years and is well established as the event for anyone who wants to promote their business and network in Norfolk's business community. The show was hosted with great style by Anglia TV presenter Jonathan Wills and opened by Davina Tanner, Chapelfield general manager and vice president of the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce.
The exhibition was held on two floors at Norwich City Football Club, comprised seven themed business zones, nearly 90 stands, presentations and workshops and was attended by over 5000 visitors. A fun and engaging day was had by all not least because we took along one of our offroad Segways to showcase, and it certainly stole the show with visitors to our stand eager to have a go! Just as popular was our Segway Experience competition…thank you to everyone who entered and congratulations go to Archant’s Andrew Denny and Barclays Andrew Grey, who each get to bring five colleagues along to Bramley Lakes for a two hour Segway session.
It was a great opportunity to make new connections and learn more about many of the regions businesses, and we look forward to forging new relationships as a result. Caroline Williams, CEO of Norfolk Chamber of Commerce, said: "B2B is now in its 13th year and firmly established as Norfolk's largest business-to-business event. What makes this event so successful is that we strive hard to ensure that each one is content-led to reflect current trends. This means they are packed with opportunities, ideas and solutions, always relevant and hugely valuable to a wide spectrum of regional businesses."
For a small business like Bramley Lakes this event gave us greater exposure to a wider regional audience. As our customer base ranges from FTSE100 companies in the UK to clients in Europe and India we wanted to provide local organisations with the chance to benefit from the “Bramley Experience”. Our Team Development Centre in Horsford, Norwich has provided many teams with a learning experience which has been the catalyst to changing behaviours and improving performance. With over 11 acres of land and full residential facilities we provide a safe learning environment where you can enhance your knowledge, learn new skills and have some fun. The key to any valuable learning experience is having a go and learning by doing, not hours and hours of theory or powerpoint. For anybody to learn a new skill you need to have your own “aha!” moment – when that realisation of the benefit becomes real.
So even if you are a small team give us a call and we’ll see how we can help. |
